Brussels To Ban Single Use Plastics

The city of Brussels will ban single-use plastics that is not reusable or recyclable during public events in the public space as from 1 July 2019

This measure is part of the Climate Plan that was voted by the Brussels city council on 24 September 2018.

The city of Brussels will impose fines and administrative sanctions to whom does not respect the regulation.

A public information campaign will be launched before the ban.
