Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates scheduled maintenance at its Memphis, Tennessee, methyl methacrylate plant from November 1 to 15, 2026. Industry reporting puts facility capacity at roughly 12,916 tonnes monthly. The planned shutdown may tighten United States MMA availability following October maintenance at Dow’s Texas plant. MMA is a feedstock for acrylic resins, coatings, adhesives and plastic products across several manufacturing industries.
