Saudi Aramco and its Chinese partners have received their first Arabian crude shipment for a new refinery and petrochemical complex in Liaoning province. The facility will process 300,000 barrels of oil daily and produce 1.65 million tonnes of ethylene and 2 million tonnes of paraxylene annually. The delivery brings the project closer to commercial operation, expected in early 2027.
