We’ve all heard the phrase: US Innovates, China Replicates and Europe Regulates … and this is why Europe failed.

Europe failed because it became less than the sum of its parts: UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain …etc.

The European Commission has the aim to become a global leader but doesn’t have the means, ability and attitude to do it.

The European Commission was built on the French model of public administration….where working for the state (public administration) is perceived as the ultimate achievement, the ultimate success.

French public administrators have a huge ego. They believe that the citizens are there to serve them. The same applies to the European Commission officials who believe that EU citizens are there to serve them. And here’s problem …. it’s the other way around …. the European Commission should serve EU citizens.

US Innovates, China Replicates and Europe Regulates … means that …

The European Commission wants to be important by regulating every aspect of business and life. Here’s a nice video to demonstrate the problem: The president of the European Commission (Ursula von der leyen) washing her hands during the covid crisis to teach us how to do it …. like a school master teaching her kids.

The European Commission believes that by regulating every aspect of life, they will remain in control. The perverse effects is that they will regulate what they do not understand…. just to control or to believe that they’re controlling the world.

Let me resume the problems:

The attitude of the European Commission to believe that the citizens are there to serve them.

The European public officials’ vision of the world is too idealistic, it’s too theoretical. The European Commission employs people who don’t have experience in the private sector and whose vision of the world is limited to books and studies.

Thirdly, the European Commission relies on industry and lobbyists to close the ‘reality gaps’ through data, consultation rounds and studies.

The European Commission doesn’t understand that the expression ‘US Innovates, China Replicates and Europe Regulates ‘ is not a compliment …. it’s a mockery. They don’t get it.

Fifthly, because the American government has another huge advantage compared to the European Commission. When a new US president comes into the oval office, he has the power to clean ship …. to literally fire any public official from the federal government and federal agencies. And they usually do it … for instance: a republican president will employ republican minded people. This system has the advantage that the windows and doors of US administrations are opened to provide fresh air, fresh ideas, fresh dogmas, fresh bullshit. This is not the case at the European Commission; the bullshit is maturing and fermenting and here are the problems:

• The European Commission have old dogs in place who have been there for ages and who seem to have their own agenda.
• The European public officials have a limited loyalty towards EU leadership (EU council and the College of European Commissioners).
• European Commission has become a patchwork of hillbillies …who want to be politically correct towards every member states. They translate every official document and meeting in 24 EU languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.
• And lastly because the European Commission isn’t trusted by EU citizens. Most EU citizens believe the European Commission to be highest corrupted body in Europe. EU Citizens believe that the European Commission is there to tax them, to reduce their purchasing power and to come up with crazy little rules that will make their daily life more complicated. We’re fed up with the nomenclature of the European Commission.

How can we improve the EU?

We should modify the EU institutions, starting with the urge to ‘Translate’ all official documents and meetings, and amending the ‘voting rights’ system in the council and the EU parliament.

We keep 3 official languages: English, French and German… and basta. You don’t agree, well there is the door. And every EU citizens should learn one of these three languages as a secondary language in Europe. Basta.

Voting rights: we should make a difference between net contributors vs net beneficiaries. The countries who pay more to the EU than what they receive from the EU: keep their voting rights in the council and in the Parliament. The countries who pay less to the EU than what they receive from the EU: loose their voting rights in the council and in the Parliament.

Top function in the European Commission would be assigned according to the same rule … they would go to net contributing member states.

Enough of the politically correct bullshit…it’s time to become a winner again. To turn Europe into a winning entity, we should be run by winning member states.

I’m going to be cruel but straightforward here … a Bulgarian or a Romanian is not the same as an English, French or German. Eastern Europe has lived under the soviet rules for half a century, and they have different mentalities …. the Europe Union should become Western, not Eastern.

Western Europe is giving parts of its wealth to the rest of Europe and therefore, they deserve to be treated as priority member states within the European Union.

Another rule: countries who have problems with dealing with criminal organisations … should be cleaned up. I’m going to say something out loud that everyone says quietly …. Italy is run by criminal organisations who are infiltrating the EU institutions … Silvio Berlusconi …. remember …. how did he make his money? By playing piano and singing in a cabaret? You seriously believe that?

Last but not least:

Ursula von der leyen is more involved with Ukrainians than with Europeans. She doesn’t have the role or responsibilities to play on the geopolitical chess board. She should facilitate economic growth and employment within the European Union not become an arms dealer.

It is said that Ursula von der leyen has become the puppet of the US consultancy firm ‘McKinsey’. McKinsey reminds me of this company from the James Bond movies …. what is it called again …. Universal Exports.

Finally, let me finish with this example: I’m currently in Turkey; The hotel is full of Europeans and mostly Eastern Europeans. The Turkish hotel employees were literally on rest. Nobody was working, They didn’t give a shit. Then yesterday, the Chinese arrived at the hotel…. the pancake was turned upside down overnight … all the Turks are now working as if their lives depended on it. They’re repainting the walls, cleaning every corner of the place. They’re standing in lines to salute the Chinese tourists.

The Chinese have become the new Americans. Why is it? Very easy. The Chinese have bet on their middle class. In the last 20 years the Chinese middle class have seen their average income multiply by 3. While the EU and US middle class have seen their average income stagnate.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why the Chinese will rule the world …. because Western politicians and public officials fucked it up properly. Western politicians and public officials have been an obstacle to the prosperity of their middle class; Chinese politicians and public officials have allowed their middle class to prosper.
