Iraq earns between $4.5 billion and $5 billion monthly from oil exports and petroleum products. The country currently exports around 2.7 million barrels of oil daily, mostly through the Strait of Hormuz. Southern oilfields supply 2.4 million barrels, while northern regions contribute up to 300,000 barrels. Despite regional tensions and production cuts, Iraq has managed to maintain its exports.
