MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ is a Canadian acronym standing for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual people, plus additional identities. It represents an expanded, inclusive term used in government and advocacy to address systemic violence against these specific communities.
Why would you want to compound ‘Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls ‘- with sexual gender ideology?
Don’t get me wrong: Police inquiries on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls should be a priority for the Canadian police forces.
