EU Commission admits it has no clue how palm oil supply chain works

The European Commission has become the world champion in making laws on topics it has no clue on how "reality" or the "system" works. The "Berlaymont" has become a synonym for "Ivory tower" policies .... Good governance would assume the opposite. The EU public consultation process also proves to be a democratic farce. By coincidence, it's always the rich and powerful that gets a benefit out of EU laws.
