Amendment n° 2585 was adopted by French Parliament.
Amendment 2585 or more commonly referred to as the Goliath, Kill Bill or Nebuchadnezzar Amendment will single-handedly kill the plastic bottle industry in France.
The target is set to reduce the number of plastic bottle in circulation in France by 50 %.
The Goliath or Nebuchadnezzar Amendment does not intend to make any prisoners …. no distinction between PE, PET, PEHD, recycled, virgin or bioplastics bottles.
This amendment will impact the fossil plastic and recycling plastic industry more heavily than the bioplastics industry.
Imagine the precedent that this will set in Europe.
