Bioplast is a bioplastics brand from Biotec
BIOPLAST are plant-based bioplastic resins that contain high shares of biologically sourced polymers such as PLA and potato starch. BIOPLAST grades are designed to run on existing standard industrial equipment. They can be processed by extrusion plants manufacturing blown film, flat film, mouldings, profiles and injection moulded products. All products made from BIOPLAST are 100% biodegradable and compostable according to EN 13432 standard.
BIOPLAST 105
BIOPLAST 105 is a plasticizer-free, thermoplastic and transparent material that contains a high portion of biologically sourced raw materials. The biobased carbon share of the entire formulation achieves 67%. BIOPLAST 105 is easy flowing and therefore particularly suitable for processing by injection moulding to produce items that are completely biodegradable. The material can also be converted by sheet and blown film extrusion. The absence of plasticizer allows the material to be easily processed to stable products of consistent quality. BIOPLAST 105 has an excellent shelf life but will biodegrade readily in an industrial composting environment.
BIOPLAST 300
BIOPLAST 300 is a plasticizer-free, thermoplastic material that contains natural potato-starch and other biologically sourced polymers. The biobased carbon-share of the entire formulation exceeds 30%. BIOPLAST 300 is suitable for blown-film extrusion applications, specially ultra-light weight films with a thickness of approx. 10 µm. Bags, fruit and vegetable bags, films and mailing films made from BIOPLAST 300 are fully biodegradable and compostable according to EN 13432, and have achieved the OK Compost HOME certification awarded by TÜV Austria. The absence of plasticizer allows the material to be easily processed to manufacture products of consistent quality.

BIOPLAST 500
BIOPLAST 500 is as plasticizer-free, thermoplastic material that contains natural potato starch and other biologically sourced polymers. The biobased carbon share of the entire formulation exceeds 50%. BIOPLAST 500 is suitable for processing by blown film extrusion to produce items that are completely biodegradable. The absence of plasticizer allows the material to be easily processed to stable products of consistent quality. BIOPLAST 500 has an excellent shelf life but will biodegrade readily in an industrial or domestic composting environment.
BIOPLAST 900
BIOPLAST 900 is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic material that contains a high portion of biologically sourced raw materials. The biobased carbon share of the entire formulation achieves 69%. BIOPLAST 900 is easy-flowing and therefore particularly suitable for processing by injection moulding to produce items that are completely biodegradable and applicable for hot filling (e.g. beverages). The material can also be converted by sheet film extrusion. The absence of plasticizer allows the material to be easily processed to stable products of consistent quality. BIOPLAST 900 has an excellent shelf life but will biodegrade readily in an industrial composting environment.
