Refinery Attacks Cut Russian Gasoline Supply by 30%

Written by

·

Russian gasoline production has fallen to around 80,000 tonnes per day following repeated Ukrainian attacks on refineries, covering only 70% of domestic summer demand of roughly 115,000 tonnes. The resulting supply gap is forcing Russia to seek additional imports, adding demand to an already fragile global fuels market. Increased Russian buying could further tighten regional supplies and support higher gasoline prices internationally.
