Russia imported more than 176,000 tonnes of petroleum products from South Korea in July and August as Ukrainian drone strikes disrupted Russian refining capacity. Ukrainian sanctions official Vladyslav Vlasiuk said the shipments helped Moscow ease domestic fuel shortages. The fuel itself was not attacked; rather, it arrived after refinery damage reduced Russia’s ability to supply its own market.
