The EU SUPD was supposed to solve the litter problem according to the EU commission
The most important element to solve plastic waste litter, I think, is education.
The following video is about the warmest day at the Belgian coast (Ostende) and the amount of waste left by the tourists.
As you can see, many people have a poor education when it comes to ‘throwing waste into the bin’.
As we can see, the EU SUPD is a big failure and did not solve one inch of the plastic waste problem.
