African leaders are selling their lands to discredited carbon offsetting program (FREE)

Just this month, reports are emerging of African leaders ‘selling’ land to a UAE company in the discredited carbon offsetting program. This is being done in violations of human rights of communities. In Kenya for example, the government has burned the homes of vulnerable communities who have lived in the forested land all their lives, thus displacing them and making them internal refugees.

We are asking the Parliament of Kenya to investigate this issue and make public all disclosures of the deal.
