Parkside Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Parkside, a leading innovator in conventional, functional and sustainable paper and plastic flexible packaging solutions, is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

The company was established in 2005 to manufacture high-quality flexible packaging mainly for the European tobacco and food markets.

It has since shifted its tobacco focus into Asia and developed as the go-to flexible packaging manufacturer in the UK and Europe for sustainable packaging solutions.

Parkside has grown significantly to now offer one of the most diverse ranges of flexible packaging on the market, supplying various market segments including tobacco, snack and chilled foods and confectionery.

The Yorkshire-based company has in recent years positioned itself as the market leader in compostable packaging, developing its Park2NatureTM range in response to consumer demands for alternatives to non-recyclable flexible packaging.

Today, it boasts a variety of award-winning packs that fully breakdown within 26 weeks.

Robert Adamson, Managing Director of Parkside, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be celebrating 15 extremely successful years in the packaging industry. This milestone is a great testament to our highly committed team who strive to innovate and respond to ever-evolving market trends.

“Since we were established in 2005, we have seen a great deal of change in the packaging industry, and most recently, the shift in consumer awareness towards sustainability has offered up a number of opportunities for the business to innovate, grow and develop.

“We have an oustanding team with significant expertise in flexible packaging printing and converting, as well as specialist knowlede of the markets we serve. Parkside today truly offers its customers added-value, quality and service, and I’m sure we will look forward to many more successful years as a result.”
