Verdezyne is No More. Who will Buy Their Assets?

Verdezyne’s first commercial facility (“VerdePalm”) in Johor, Malaysia, was almost completed but one of the investor, Sime Darby, decided to pull out and quit the project. The remaining investors decided to shut down the company.

What will happen to Verdezyne’s remaining assets: Californian lab, pilot plant, IPs and VerdePalm?

There will probably be some interesting assets on the auction market along the liquidation process. Who will buy it? One of our readers?
