LyondellBasell expects to locate its second MoReTec chemical recycling plant in Europe rather than the United States. CEO Peter Vanacker cited stronger European regulatory support during the company’s October 30 earnings call. The company is already developing its first commercial-scale MoReTec plant in Wesseling, Germany. A final investment decision on the second facility has not yet been announced.
