Türkiye could soon announce a new oil discovery at its Gabar field, Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said during Russian Energy Week in Moscow. Exploration continues both onshore and offshore as Ankara seeks greater energy independence. The minister also highlighted rising Black Sea natural gas production, expected to quadruple by 2028, alongside efforts to diversify energy supplies and strengthen security.
