Dangote plans to build a new 700,000-barrel-per-day refinery and petrochemical complex in Kenya as part of its expansion into East Africa. Engineers India has secured a contract worth more than $450 million to provide engineering and project-management services. The project aims to reduce East Africa’s dependence on imported fuels while also producing petroleum products for international markets.
