Shell and Equinor warn that the global energy market is running out of buffers against a major supply shock. Inventories are shrinking, logistics are stretched and Middle East disruptions are still threatening oil and gas flows. With crude above $100 and Europe exposed to tighter gas supplies, another serious disruption could trigger a much sharper energy price spike.
