PureCycle Delays Antwerp Chemical Recycling Plant to 2029
PureCycle Technologies has delayed the start of its planned polypropylene recycling plant in Antwerp until at least 2029. The solvent-based facility was previously expected to reach mechanical completion by the end of 2028. The project received a €40 million EU Innovation Fund grant in March 2026 and is designed to produce 59,000 tonnes of recycled polypropylene annually.
