Norway is a major producer and exporter of both oil and natural gas, supplying roughly 2% of global oil and 3% of global natural gas demand. As Europe’s top supplier of natural gas, it holds significant offshore reserves in the North Sea.

I sincerely hope Norway is protecting all of its oil and gas infrastructure. If Norway’s energy infrastructure were to be destroyed, Europe would be in serious trouble—much sooner than anyone expects.
