Michael Carus
Let me share some positive and negative points about Michael Carus
Positive Points
- Pioneer
Michael was one of the first person to get involved in the bio-economy sector. He’s not afraid to take on challenges and to face difficulties. He’s determined and that is an attribute of winners.
- Successful
Michael is a successful business man. He built a successful network of organisations active in the bio-economy. He’s one of the few people to have made a profit with bioplastics.
- Values
From what I’ve seen, Michael has no superiority complex towards other people unlike other lobbyists from the bioplastics industry. Whether you’re a CEO or an intern, you can talk to Michael and he will have consideration for you. Great quality.
Negative Points
- Dogmatic
Michael believes that bio is good and fossil is evil. This is a dogma.
There’s no difference between bio and fossil carbon. The word fossil is an invention of Rockefeller and his lobbyists to make us believe that crude oil was a rare ressource. They used the name fossil to make us believe that the ressource was found in the same ‘depth’ (layer) as fauna and flora fossils. They even lied that crude oil was made up from fossilised fauna and flora. More than 150 years later, the scientific establishment has not yet burst that bubble because of fossil money in academic research.
On a small scale, bio is better than fossil but on a larger scale Bio relies on intensive agriculture. On a global scale, the crude oil volumes are just too big and substituting fossil with bio would mean committing an environmental genocide on the agricultural soils.
The Bio- economy is over-subsidised. We should not give grants to the fossil industry. It’s unconceivable that today we still give grants to the fossil industry. This is why I’m against grants in the bio-industry … to avoid making the same mistake.
- Co-CEO
Lars Borger is not CEO but co-ceo …. Does Michael has a problem with letting go?
- Personal experience
I only had positive personal experiences with Michael Carus but i don’t always agree with him.
Anyway, Michael …. I wish you all the best.
