Developed in the framework of PlasticsEurope’s Voluntary Commitment Plastics 2030, this report provides a European overview of plastics production, conversion into parts and products, waste collection and treatment, including recycling.
It also addresses the production of recyclates and their use in different applications.
It aims to be one of the several studies, surveys and analyses which looks in more detail at the different steps of the life cycle of plastics.
Studies like these can contribute to establish a European baseline of knowledge about plastic waste and a better understanding of the circular economy of plastics.
