Made from trees
The key raw material used to make Trēva is cellulose derived from sustainably harvested trees. It is functional and sustainable, which allows less material in use and creates products that will last longer. The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) BioPreferred® program has certified Eastman Trēva™ engineering bioplastic GC6021 with a biobased content of 42% and Eastman Trēva™ engineering bioplastic GC6011 with a biobased content of 45%.
