Shell expects to make much more money from turning crude oil into fuels such as petrol and diesel. Its profit margin from refining oil is expected to rise from $24 to $42 per barrel. The increase comes as the conflict in the Middle East disrupts oil supplies and pushes fuel prices higher. Consumers pay more, while Shell makes bigger profits.
