Europe is discussing the release of strategic oil and diesel reserves as supply risks intensify. France has proposed releasing around 50 million barrels of diesel alongside 50 million barrels of crude from IEA stocks. The move reflects growing concern over refined-product shortages, U.S. pressure and possible restrictions on American diesel exports, which could leave Europe especially exposed this winter.
