Canada’s retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods have now reached the plastics sector, adding new costs to cross-border trade. The measures cover several plastic products, including films, bags, flooring and household items. For North American polymer markets, the tariffs could disrupt sourcing decisions, increase compliance burdens and encourage manufacturers and distributors to reconsider established Canada-U.S. supply chains.
