I would like to support American bioplastics companies.
These are challenging times, and if I can contribute in any meaningful way, I’m happy to do so.
If you are a U.S.-based, bio-based bioplastics company, I would be glad to publish your content and promote your business on Bioplastics News.
Why only bio-based? Because I do not support compostable or soil-biodegradable plastics. In my view, these materials can be harmful to both soil quality and human health.
There are a few conditions:
- Your company must not be a member of European Bioplastics. Membership would suggest alignment with positions or actions that I cannot support (such as their boycott against me).
- European Bioplastics and its network already have privileged access to EU funding through channels like the CBE JU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium. They are well-funded, well-connected, and well taken care of. In fact, these organisations have built an ecosystem in which they capture and control a significant share of EU funding, effectively keeping those resources within their own network. A good example of EU nepotism.
That said, I am also open to supporting European bioplastics companies—provided they are not members of European Bioplastics and do not receive EU funding.
