Due to military attacks on QatarEnergy’s operating facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City in the State of Qatar, QatarEnergy has halted production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and related products.

These facilities account for approximately 20% of the global gas supply, with a total annual production capacity of 77 million tonnes.

The disruption is expected to have a significant impact on global LNG prices.
