The message is the following …. it’s becoming too risky for the plastic recycling industry to keep bullshitting everyone in Europe.
Because now, everyone is watching …. and you can’t make a huge amount of plastic waste disappear overnight, and frauding has become too risky.
This brings us to one of the biggest fraud that happened on European soil: The food & drink industry charged a surplus to the consumers to incorporate the cost of packaging recycling.
We all know that mostly nothing was recycled …. so why did the consumer pay a recycling surplus fee?
Should the food and drink industry be fined for this or not?
The plastic recycling industry should be very careful …. let me use a metaphor to explain why: when everyone is leaving the party, it’s the last one to leave who receives the bill.
