The price of PLA is set to explose in the coming years. PLA will become a luxury commodity, alongside caviar and gold.
The PLA supply chain could also collapse as countries won’t allow food ressources to be used in the production of plastics.
You shouldn’t use PLA in packaging if you can find it but you should store it and trade it in a couple of years. It’s plastic so you can book it as a loss in your bookkeeping.
PLA could be worse than a crypto currency.
However, if you’re using it in your packaging line and you ‘need’ it to supply your packaging line (to pack your goods) … then you’ll be the patsy.
