The European Bioplastics associations has hired mafiosi lobbyists in the past who had their connections within the European Commission and European Parliament. These ‘Don Corleone’ lobbyists manage to corrupt the EU legislative process and create abstract legislation (EU SUPD) to promote their German / Italian ‘compostable’ plastic technology and to ban competing UK biodegradable plastic technology.
