I’ve been around for more than 10 years in the bioplastics industry as editor of Bioplastics News and I would like to thank my readers for their loyalty.
Over the last 10 years I have seen many PR agencies come and go. My relationship with PR agencies, I admit, hasn’t always been a walk in the park, but then again, as a blogger, that’s my responsibility. I need to tickle the monsters a little bit because they’re already winning all the time and on every front. Monster corporations are using many PR agencies, but not all of them are good.
So here’s my personal opinion:
Best PR Agency 2024
The winner is:
Pankowski Media
Pankowski Media and Mark Pankowski have always acted as ‘gentleman’ in good and bad times. Pankowski Media has always dealt with me in a professional and respectful manner. Indirectly, I do have a good impression about their clients.
Pankowski Media have also a human size; I can put a face behind the brand. There’s never been a moment were something didn’t feel right in my correspondence with Pankowski media.

Worse Agency of 2024
The winner is
Higginson Strategy
Never had I such bad feelings about a PR agency. I want to puke them out of my sight.
They’ve irritated me at a level that no other agency have done. We’re dealing with professional amateurs here. Pure certified ‘bull**’ cavalier attitude’.
I’ve associated Higginson Strategy and their customer as one big chunk of greenwashing. Their clients include Tipa and Xampla for instance. I had sympathies for both these companies (Tipa and Xampla) at some point in time, but now … thanks to the brilliant execution at Higginson Strategy I do associate both companies with greenwashing. I won’t even publish their content anymore.
For me, Higginson Strategy are not genuine. They pretend to be green but it’s masquerade. It’s fake.
