WEF Davos 2024

The conference will bring together over 2.800 leaders from 120 countries from the 15th to the 19th of January 2024.

According to the NY Post … it’s about caviar, magic mushrooms, gold-leaf desserts, A-list selfies, $2,500-per-night hookers and secret dinners.

By the way, I wonder if the Swiss police are sending their drug detection dogs to Davos?

Caste System

Not all Davos attendees are created equal: there’s a caste system that separates the ‘court’ from the elite.

Everyone has to wear a colored badge with their full name on it at all times, and the color is an instant way of judging their importance.

When you’re a top top celebrity, you can hide your badge.

White badges are the most expensive accreditation; being a CEO is not enough: your company must be world famous.

Escorts

The WEF escort tariffs are:  $750 per hour and $2,500 to spend the whole night. The escorts dresses in business attire in order to blend in with the crowd at the WEF.

I wonder if the escorts have to carry a badge? Which color? Are they attending the meetings? What is the carbon footprint of flying escorts from all over the world to Davos?

Private Jets

Private jet travel is by far the most polluting and carbon-intensive mode of transportation.

Around 1.500 private jets will travel to all the surrounding airports near Davos during the WEF summit.

The private jets usually carry between 1 and 3 guests maximum.

Some private jets are taken for very small journeys as short as 21 km as revealed by Greenpeace.

The carbon footprint of the ‘WEF Davos Summit private jets’ is equivalent to 350.000 cars driving 24/24 in the same time period.

Eco-Hypocrisy

The WEF Summit in Davos has become a synonym for eco-hypocrisy.

Most CEOs have to maximise profits for their shareholders and have an extremely luxurious lifestyle of private jets, private yachts, caviar, champagne etc. not to mention the luxurious escorts.

During holiday seasons, billionaires send their yachts to the Caribbean but they do not travel on the yacht during the crossing of the oceans. They fly with their private jets to the Caribbean airports to catch their private yachts.

And It’s the WEF billionaires who tell us to reduce our carbon footprint 🙂

Well, why don’t they reduce their own carbon footprint and shut down their global corporate factories to show us how to do it.
