Flemish Politicians were asked to testify in front of the Flemish Parliament Commission on PFAS.

Nothing really new came out of it.

Politicians are protecting themselves and their colleagues.

The same political parties and politicians have been in the Flemish government for many years.

One could ask the question: is a parliamentary commission the best tool to inquire on the responsibility of politicians?

Shouldn’t the courts be responsible when politicians are involved?

They’re also trying to blame the government agency OVAM for not testing the soils.

OVAM says that they were told by the Minister to remain silent on the 3M PFAS pollution.

The price tag of 190 million € has been mentioned to clean up the 3M PFAS polluted soils.
