She is responsible for holding Apple’s suppliers to the highest standards of human rights and environmental protection, including responsible labor and materials sourcing practices, workplace health and safety, increasing the use of greener materials, conserving finite resources, and supporting suppliers’ transition to renewable energy. Her teams work cross-functionally to address cost and environmental opportunities to reflect our values in our supply chain every day. Sarah joined Apple in 2006 and holds an M.B.A. and Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Systems, both from Stanford University. Prior to Apple, Sarah served as the Executive Director of a nonprofit providing environmental education and leadership experiences for low-income high school students.
