Context
The world uses billions of items of packaging every day. Humans have produced 9.1bn tonnes of plastic since 1950 and most of it is sitting in the environment.
The cosmetics industry is not the worst industry but needs to act rapidly to show alternatives that reduce environmental impact, and reflect brand values, so that it cannot be considered a problem industry.
Sustainability is no longer an option, it’s an obligation.
Creezy Courtoy, Founder and Chair of IPF (International Perfume Foundation) will introduce The New Luxury Code and will lead a discussion asking:
- What are the solutions for humans and the environment?
- What will the packaging of tomorrow be?
