AkzoNobel and Axalta Unveil Axanzo as New Coatings Giant

AkzoNobel and Axalta have announced Axanzo as the name of their planned $25 billion merger, creating a global coatings leader operating in over 160 countries. The combined business will manage approximately 100 brands, generating annual revenues of around $17 billion. Completion is expected in early 2027, pending regulatory approvals, including an ongoing European Commission antitrust review.
