The U.S. Energy Information Administration has sharply raised its oil-price outlook as Middle East disruptions drain inventories and tighten diesel supplies. Brent is now forecast to average $105 per barrel in Q4 2026, $14 above its previous estimate. The EIA expects prices to ease to $84 in 2027 as Gulf exports recover and U.S. production reaches record levels.
