LG Chem and Volkswagen Group have signed an MoU to jointly develop next-generation automotive plastics with higher recycled content. The partnership will focus on engineering plastics and ABS resins for vehicle applications, including EV lightweighting. The companies aim to improve material performance while increasing the use of post-consumer recycled plastics across future Volkswagen models.
