3M, DuPont, Honeywell and more than 20 companies must face a lawsuit from Connecticut firefighters over PFAS in protective gear. The firefighters allege the “forever chemicals” leached from turnout gear into their bodies, increasing health risks. A federal judge ruled the claims can proceed, including requests for damages and medical monitoring, even where firefighters show no symptoms.
