Written by

·

TotalEnergies is acquiring Plastic Energy’s 35% stake in the Grandpuits chemical recycling plant, giving it full ownership. The facility, operational since March 2026, can process 15,000 tonnes of difficult plastic waste annually. Using pyrolysis, it converts waste into synthetic oil that can replace fossil feedstock in producing new plastics, including food and medical applications.
