US Recycling Industry in Favour of Policy

Politicians see recycling as an easy solution for the circular economy. The recycling industry see policy as being in "their" advantage: make recycling, recyclable plastics and recycled content a legal obligation and it shall turn the recycling business into an El Dorado. The Recycling Industry may also be tempted to push the compostable plastics off the cliff to remove the competition.
