This new bioplastic, and three other products from the Biokomp® range of the company, have obtained the “OK Compost” seal from the TÜV Austria (ex Vincotte) agency that certify that they are 100% biodegradable in a certain period of time.
The innovative formulation of this new bioplastic aims to replace the traditional supermarket plastic bags for fruit or vegetables and reduce well significantly carbon footprint
The 4 certificates obtained by the company are broken down into:
two “Ok Compost” stamps HOME “for bioplastics suitable for household composting and two” Ok stamps INDUSTRIAL Compost ”for those bioplastics that only degrade in industrial composting facilities
