NatureWorks Recognized as Top Supplier by Jamplast

Jamplast Inc., a leading prime resin distributor, awarded NatureWorks as a top supplier for 2019.

Jamplast Inc. has been part of NatureWorks LLC’s distribution model since 2003. INGEO is a biopolymer that is starch based and used in many applications such as 3D printing, master batch, food and beverage packaging, appliances, landscaping and agriculture, medical, etc.

Using INGEO in performance competitive markets has helped lessen the carbon footprint that petroleum-based plastics produce.

“Jamplast Distribution is committed to the ever-changing plastic climate and the challenges that are presented within. In 2019 those challenges created opportunities for growth with Jamplast and NatureWorks which involved working intimately together for market alignment, brand to distribution strategy, production lead times as well as commitment to the converters. We are excited to continue our distribution model with NatureWorks and looking forward to more success in 2020 and beyond,” said Mike Bernich, President of Jamplast Inc.

Jamplast Inc. was created as a thermoplastics distributor to service various North American plastic processing manufacturers, including molders, extruders, compounders and roto-molders.

Jamplast began relationships with large petrochemical producers and custom compounders to source prime, custom compounded, wide-specification, and scrap thermoplastic materials.

We operate a 65,000 square foot distribution center located in Mt Vernon, IN.

The facility has storage capabilities, bulk transfer, packaging, blending, grinding & sorting, and testing.

In addition to the company’s own facility, Jamplast contracts with several distribution centers coast to coast including Canada in order to provide J.I.T. stocking capabilities.
