This year edition of the European Bioplastics Conference was rich in content, especially for what concerns new molecules and new sugar platforms. Its specific waste management angle was able to cast light on the end of life of bioplastics and their specific role in transitioning from a linear to a circular economy, be it for bioplastics themselves or as an enabler of the separate collection and valorization of organic waste.
