Lobbyists have done a great job. The European Commission is once again avoiding taking the bull by the horns and addressing the real, fundamental issues.
Congratulations to the lobbyists.
In the end, it’s just another legal document that doesn’t truly change anything.
That said, I believe the PPWR will eventually lead to significant fines, while the actual waste problem remains unsolved.
